Preheat oven to 375°F In a large skillet, brown the sausage over medium to high heat until no pink remains. Transfer the sausage to a large bowl, reserving the drippings. Add 1 tablespoon of butter to the skillet, along with the drippings. Add the chopped onion, 1/2 cup of celery, garlic, and cook over medium heat until softened, about five minutes. Add to sausage in large bowl. Prepare stove top stuffing per the instructions on the box. Once done, combine and mix all ingredients in the large bowl. If dry, add a little extra water or chicken broth. Transfer to a large casserole dish and drizzle with 1/4 cup of melted butter. Bake uncovered for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
